Judd Feiler, MS, PT, received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of California, San Francisco. This education provided Judd with a strong theoretical foundation, medical and applied sciences advancing to holistic physical rehabilitation mastery. This program provided a focus on critical and clinical reasoning that Judd weaves throughout his practice. Judd thrives on working collaboratively with patients across the lifespan to improve health, wellness, and optimize function. Judd uses a combination of manual techniques and progressive exercise prescription to assist his patient’s recovery. Judd has taken many continuing education courses and believes in finding the right combination of techniques for each individual to best maximize their recovery. He regularly practices Maitland, McKenzie, and Mulligan techniques, as well as others, in order to find the right recipe for each patient’s success.
Judd has experience in multiple settings including sports medicine, fall prevention, acute care and is an Ergonomic Specialist. Judd has been a practicing physical therapist for over 20 years. Judd Feiler, MS, PT is a published author in multiple national medical journals in Ergonomics focusing on safe work practices for healthcare professionals and safe ergonomic design of dynamic workstations.
Judd is passionate about physical therapy practice as a means to assist patients meet their goals and optimize their function relying on hands-on therapy and exercise. He believes PT- patient communication is essential to good outcomes and that patients should be an active part of their care plan and understand how to care for themselves when not in therapy.
Judd continues his own strive for continued education by being an active participant in the Water and Sports Physical Therapy mentorship program with an emphasis in manual therapy of the Spine and Extremities, while also working on his MFDc for Myofascial Decompression, along with his Fall Prevention Certification, CFPS.
Prior to UCSF, Judd received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from SDSU and an Associate’s degree in Human Biology from City College. Judd enjoys running, road cycling, mountain biking, tennis, and basketball, and plays music as often as possible. Judd has two sons that keep him engaged and busy.
