Heaven Berg, PTA, completed her undergraduate studies at California Baptist University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science.
She continued on to earn her Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Concorde Career College in San Diego.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant Heaven is passionate about being a part of her patient’s road to recovery. She utilizes various manual techniques and prescribes functional interventions to facilitate in each patient’s unique progress. She enjoys performing manual techniques such as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, active muscle pumping and myofascial decompression.
Heaven holds the Certification in Myofascial Decompression (MFDc) which gives her the skill set to utilize cupping to decompress and improve the extensibility of fascia, muscle and tissues. This manual technique is vital in most cases and is one of Heaven’s favorite techniques.
In her free time Heaven enjoys anything outdoors, lifting in the gym, trying new restaurants and spending time with her family. She is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and working towards relevant certifications to better assist in her patients progress.
