Post-graduation from Cal State Northridge with a BA in Journalism and Communications, Andrew was accepted into the highly competitive Concorde College for Physical Therapy and received both his Professional Degree and Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2021.
During his collegiate career, Andrew completed clinical rotations in both inpatient and outpatient facilities which fully encompassed several different various stages of each patient’s personal recovery process.
This rehabilitative process enabled Andrew to be fully involved with his patient’s rehabilitation from ‘Day one’ of post-operative surgical intervention, to fully returning to competitive sport, as Andrew remained instrumental in each patient’s personal recovery within the Rehabilitation Team.
Andrew firmly believes in patient centered care, and his patients feel fully involved and informed along their rehabilitation journey with his knowledge and compassionate care.
Andrew continues his own strive for continued education and continues the process by being an active participant in the Water and Sports Physical Therapy mentorship program with an emphasis in manual therapy of the spine and extremities, while also working on his MFDc for Myofascial Decompression, along with his Fall Prevention Certification CFPS.
Andrew has been involved in Athletics throughout his entire life with a passion for volleyball in both High School and College. He also coached in both the Youth and Collegiate Levels for 10 years while spending additional time as a Sports Information Director at a Junior College in Los Angeles.
Andrew enjoys his spare time in beautiful San Diego by enjoying recreational sports, playing guitar, and practicing Ballroom Dancing.
